My recent business trip to LA allowed me to pitch my own IP
for animated
TV show ideas to major players in the animation industry.
It was thanks to New Zealand Trade and Enterprise that this
all was made possible.
One of my preschool ideas I pitched, it's about a Ukulele that moves into the neighbourhood and stays at the local musical instrument shop over night befriending a shop full of friends from distant places. During my trip I pitched a total of 4 ideas, 2 pre school and 2 pre teen ideas.
Hotel Amarano in Burbank with my Aunty and cousin who are based in LA.
This is where the Pitch Event took place, luckily for me it was
nice and cool inside
when outside it was a record heat wave.
I stayed down the road and walked home in the evening when
it all cooled down.
On my way to my hotel I passed by Warner Bros studios back lot, couldn't see much over the walls even with my height being 6"4.
Porchlight Entertainment pitching one of my ideas with help

The Pitch went well that day I met with Shea Fontana the head of childrens programming at Porchlight Entertainment and showed her 2 of my ideas that I thought might be of interest to the Porchlight brand.
After that my Uncle and cousin picked me up and we had donuts
for breakfast...mmm.

He is such a funny guy but is tuned into the market so he knows what he's talking about.
